Playback speed distortion VLC iOS

MP3 file when playback speed increased causes audio to be distorted and sound like a chipmunk. I tested other mp3 files that previously played properly and they were distorted as well. The same file played on the VLC MACOS application plays back properly (fast, but not distorted). Using the VLC for iOS app version 3.3.7 (432)
