Streaming video randomly freezing while audio keeps playing normally

Hi everyone! So, basically what the title says. I'm streaming two different m3u8 sources on an Android Stick (4.4.2). The video and audio start playing correctly until after a random amount of time the video freezes while the audio keeps playing. I'm not getting eny errors or app crash. Sometimes it happens after a couple of seconds but others maybe after half an hour. It's worth saying that I use the same m3u8 sources on other devices and apps and they play normally.
