video colors replaced by greens and purples after iPhone app update (April 26, 2022)

I just went to watch a video file in VLC on my iPhone, and all the colours had become green or purple (or blacks seemed to sometimes remain blackish). I did do the update in the App Store for version 3.3.5. It seems that only some files are effected (It may just be those with HDR, but I haven't checked). This has happened for as per the related issue I have cited, which is exactly what is happening on my screen too. My app is currently on 3.3.6 and the issue is not fixed.
