can't type any characters for new playlist name (new Chromecast)

Since the latest update for VLC on Chromecast with Google TV it is impossible to create new Playlists. When adding a file to a playlist the usual dialogue appears. However, where is says playlist name I cannot type any characters and in consequence cannot create new Playlists.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
