VLC Player videos file folder search bar has stopped working:

When clicking on the "Media" tab, and then on "Open File" from the drop down menu when using VLC Player in Windows, the search bar at the upper right in the videos file folder does not work, i.e., no search results are obtained when entering any kind of key words, including upon clicking on the blue arrow to the right end of the search box after search words have been entered. Because of this bug, the user is forced to scroll through all of their video files to find the one they want to play every time they use the player. Thank you for your correction of this issue.
