AutoEQ setting profile import integration to the existing Equalizer panel and tweaks to the existing Equalizer panel

I came across this repository: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq

This software generates sound profiles for specific headphones and it makes sure that the correct equalizer curve settings are used for the specified headphone.

Then the result is outputted in a text file, that contains the values, and those can be supplied to an Equalizer software to parse it, and set the right setting from the parsed file.

Other technical informations are on the repository's documentation files.

I also have seen that the Preamp slider of the current Android app does not display the decibel value of the Pre-amplification setting. I also have seen that some equalizer settings are missing from the presets, and those are the following:

  • U-shape
  • V-shape
  • M-shape
  • W-shape

I hope that the AutoEQ profile importing feature can be added to the equalizer panel, and the preamp slider will display the decibel value of the settings, and/or makes it possible to enter a custom value by tapping on the target equalizer band's name.
