Warning: Audioeffects destroyed my MacBook Pro Speaker!

Hi,

I am using VLC since many years. It is the best player worldwide for me.

However 2 days ago i first time saw the Menu "Display Audioeffectsbutton" and used it while playing Music on my MacBook Pro from 2015.

I switched this function on and switched on and off the different options while playing music and this destroyed my left speaker on my MacBook Pro from 2015! :((( It now sounds like an old car speaker and is unuseable! 😢

I never ever saw any software that can destroy hardware in 30 years of IT experience. But sadly my loved VLC achieved this on my loved MacBook Pro and the speaker is damaged now.

Thanks for the best player, but maybe build in a warning that this function MAY kill your speakers, when turning it on while playing music and the loudness is at 125%.
