Sound problem on Vista

My wife has a Vista PC I installed the last version of VLC ( 3.0.16 ) and I detect a very strange sound problem There is sound only on video with 44100 Hz sampling. Most of my videos are coded with 48000 Hz and it doesn't play the Audio ( but Video is Ok ) The only difference in the audio codec configuration is the sampling rate and one is working fine and the other not.
