Video framerate changes from 30.00 to 30.01 after converting (MOV to MP4)

I produced a video (.MOV) on DaVinci Resolve with the following specs:

  • Length: 1m40s
  • Frame width & height: 1080, 1920
  • Data rate: 14839kbps
  • Total bitrate: 15034kbps
  • Frame rate: 30.00 frames/second

After converting it to .MP4, the framerate changes to 30.01. This happens both when the Frame Rate in "Profile edition" > "Video codec" is set to "Same as source" and when I manually set it to 30.00.

The video plays back fine both on VLC and on other players, but once I upload it to Instagram's IGTV, which specifically uses 30.00, a part of the video's intro is cut off, and the rest is "stretched" to fit into the 1m40s length.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
