VLC 4: Allow unselecting items by clicking into blank area

Currently in all Qt/QML collections it is not possible to unselect the currently selected item by clicking into blank space.

For example in this screenshot I would expect to be able to unselect the selected item by clicking into any of the white blank space:

But clicking into blank space, like the area marked with the red square, does not actually unselects the item. Same applies to the list view.
