Unable to play SoundCloud M3U8 files

VLC cannot play M3U8 files from SoundCloud. This problem is probably not only related to SoundCloud, but SoundCloud is an ideal resource for testing this issue. Playback ends with the following error: Failed to create demuxer 0x0 Unknown. Please see the attached log file for more details.

You can use Locoloader to get the current M3U8 file.
