Lag/Slow to continue playback when sipping forward/backwards

With the latest update (post security fix), using the arrow keys to skip forwards/backwards in the video sees a delay in playback resumption. Regressing to an older version confirms that the skip function is instant on the same PC.

Also applies to clicking onto the time bar directly.
