Mouse Volume Control Functions Incorrectly when VLC Media Player not the active window
I am using my mouse scroll wheel for volume control. It functions correctly when VLC is my active window. However if another application is my active window and I then hover above the VLC window, VLC does respond to the scroll wheel movement but in an uncontrolled manner: if attempting to reduce volume, the actual volume is taken down to zero, and when attempting to increase volume, the actual volume is taken to maximum. In an ideal world VLC should respond identically whether VLC is the active window or not but if this is not easily implemented, then VLC should not respond to the mouse scroll wheel input unless VLC is the active window.
I am using VLC version 3.0.12 Vetinari on a x64 Win 10 Home OS version 20H2, OS Build 19042.928.
