VLC 4: Switching main category forgets selected subcategory

In the VLC 4 main window switching to a different main category (Video, Music, Browse, Discover) forgets what was selected as subcategory of the previously selected main category. So when switching back to that, the wrong subcategory is selected:

added Component::Interface: Qt label

Using the back arrow instead, this works as expected. But it should preverse the state when switching the main categories too.

Are we sure it's a bug and not a feature ?

Sometimes it can be confusing when you are not defaulting to the first sub-category.

To me the current behavior feels a lot more unexpected and annoying even. Although I can see why some people might prefer it in a different way.
