Audio defects after seeking/jumping. Multiple codecs, other player is OK, playback way too early (-numberhere): playing silence
Hi,
the audio of the played video file is stuttering (interrupting numerous times in a few seconds each time for a fractions of the second. It usually happen after i jump in the video), when seeking like 5-10 seconds back the audio interruption does not repeat).
The vlc player debug output shows line: main audio output warning:
playback way too early (-numberhere): playing silence
I was also trying to play using mpv player and then quckly same video parts in VLC and i have not seen problem in mpv (or is not noticeable) , only in VLC. Also this issue is in numerous files, also not only mkv, but also avi and mp4 (audio codecs Vorbis, Opus, MP3 mp4a-6B and multiple video codecs like VP8, AVC)
I was trying to reset the configuration: vlc --reset-config VLC media player 3.0.12 Vetinari (revision 3.0.12-1-0-gd147bb5e)
but that not helped. I am up to date on Linux 5.10.19-1-MANJARO (Arch based).
