VLC can't play links coped from browser that contain [ and ] characters

VLC can't play links which are directly coped from browser that contain [ and ] characters. This exists on android 3.3.4 and windows(I remembered)

It seems VLC is unable to recognize the links that the browsers can and output.

I searched and found no reports for this issue.
