deadlock in vlc

VLC 3.0.12, current as at of the bug report, seem prone to deadlock in a way that the previous minor release is not (3.0.11), which was rock solid.

I'm not too sure exactly what triggers this but I have attached the spindump for it. I guess it's not very useful but at least there's a backtrace of all the threads.

Occasionally in the 3.0.12 I would see a crash upon exit, I'm not sure if something related to threading between 3.0.11/3.0.12 has changed, if it would help narrow it down?
