Some ASF streams not playing anymore since version 3.0.12

Hi,

I have some IP cameras in my house which provide asf streams by URLs like the following:

http:///videostream.asf?user=>username>&pwd=

The streams played well with all VLC version so far, but starting with version 3.0.12 on Windows (64bit), this does not work anymore. Side note: Android is also affected, all versions above 3.3.1 have the same issue.

There is no error message or anything, but the screen just stays black after a quick flash. Also the buttons indicate nothing is being played at all. So I think it is not an issue with rendering but really some steps before with decoding the stream.

What can I do to provide more information for this to be debugged please? Currently I work with the previous VLC version as portable again, to have this working.
