Loud pop/crack when switching files with audio

Version 3.0.11.1 Vetinari (Intel 64bit)

Very loud pop/crack noise very often when switching from one video to another. Loud to the point that it could damage the equipment.

It's a know issue (there's even a Reddit thread on that), but it's ignored unfortunately. Please, fix it.
