SMB authentication failed for VLC mobile ios & iPadOS

After VLC on iOS and and iPadOS being updated from 3.2.11 to 3.2.12, the SMB login started to fail.

VLC will keep prompting to input login details and fail to actually connect to file-sharing machine on local network. Tested on both iOS and iPadOS 14.0.1

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
