Video DVD's streamed by VLC to Google ChromeCast will be stopped to early

= Problem Description: If you play a Video DVD (that means a Video DVD with VIDEO_TS .IFO/.VOB formatted files including DVD menu) with VLC for Windows and stream the output to a Google Chromecast device the end of the movies is missing and the video will be stopped to early or switched too early to the next video title. (with the exception of the last video title)

= Detailed Description: If you play the same Video DVD with VLC on the local device it is working without any problems but if you try to play the Video DVD and send/stream the output to a Google Chromecast the movie will be stopped to early or it will be switched too early to the next title. This problem can be reproduced especially with season DVD's with have more of one main title. In this case around 2 up to 5 minutes of the end of the videos is missing.

This problem will also happen if you try to play the ISO file of a Video DVD directly within VLC or play Video DVD files which are saved on the local hard drive (VIDEO_TS .IFO/.VOB format).

If you try to play the video converted as *.mp4 or *.mkv file and stream it to a Chromecast the video will be played without any problems. That means this problem will be happened especially in combination of playing Video DVD's (incl. DVD menu structure) and send the output to a Google Chromecast! \ This behavior is independent if the Video DVD is encrypted or not encrypted and if you use the 32- or 64-bit version of VLC. The tests have been done with VLC 3.0.8, 3.0.9.2 and 3.0.11 (32- and 64-bit) with Windows 10 (1909) [Version 10.0.18363.720 and 10.0.18363.1016]

= Test Preconditions:

  • A Google Chromecast is connected in your local network and visible in the VLC menu: \"Playback" > "Renderer" > [Name of your Chromecast device] \ \
  • You have a Video DVD which contains VIDEO_TS .IFO/.VOB formatted files including DVD menu or a ISO file of such Video DVD (Do not use DVD's with *.mp4, *.mkv or other video files!)

= Test Description: == Test Case A (normal DVD playing):

  1. Insert a DVD in local drive and select in VLC menu: \"Media" > "Open Disc…" > then select the disk drive (or ISO file) and press "Play"
  2. Check if the DVD contains more as one title and play the first video title from VLC menu: \"Playback" > "Title" > "Title 1" (or another main title)
  3. Play the video complete or play the last 10 minutes of the video and check what sequence is the end of the movie

== Test Case B (stream DVD to Google Chromecast video device):

  1. Insert a DVD in local drive and select in VLC menu:\"Media" > "Open Disc…" > then select the disk drive (or ISO file) and press "Play"
  2. Check if the DVD contains more as one title and play the first video title from VLC menu:\"Playback" > "Title" > "Title 1" (or another main title)
  3. Play the video complete or start to play the last (5 up to) 10 minutes of the video title
  4. Stream the video to Chromcast in VLC menu:\"Playback" > "Renderer" > select here your Chromecast device
  5. Check what sequence is the end of the movie and if somethings of the end is missing

Remark: I have yet only a DVD drive to test. Another question would be, if the same problem exists with Blu-Ray drives and Blu-Ray Disks? Please could anyone test this behavior with some DVD and Blu-Ray Disks?
