Very very high pitched sound when playing music in the beginning

So on VLC versions 3.0.10-3.0.11 on macOS 10.14.6 Mojave, when playing a music file, there is frequently a very loud high-pitched sound in the beginning. See the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUnuvy0oNxU. I'm using a MacBook Pro 15-inch 2019. This problem doesn't exist in version 3.0.8. Also, this issue occurs even after uninstalling and reinstalling VLC completely.
