Black image when playing video on android 4.4.2 (armv7-a)

Android AOSP 4.4.2 on Amlogic s805 (Rikomagic MK05 tv box) armv7-a. Kernel version 3.10.33 (Mon Mar 30 09:47:07 CST 2015).

Tested version VLC 3.2.12 (2020-04-30) from Google Play Store and also tested VLC 3.3.0 beta 7 armv7 20200715-0135.

When playing a video file, the audio and the image are showed correctly at the begining, but only while you see "video player tips" with command buttons all over the screen (at that moment the image is darkened, of course). But if you make buttons disappear (clicking on "Got it, dissmiss this"), then image goes totally black (audio keeps ok).

Curiously, you can make the image go back again (darkened) invoking buttons again. In fact, when you click on the bottom area, you only see this bottom area of the video (again, darkened) with the progress bar and the options to pause, lock, etc. If you press or click buttons to up or down the volume, you only see a small rectangle with volume percentage and the image of the video in background.

So it looks like buttons layer blocks the screen and it is not transparent at all.

The only workaround to see the video is to select an option like "Playback speed" that get back the whole screen, but the image is darkened :'-(.
