VLC doesn't play video encoded with H.264 YUV 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 (8 bit) with VDPAU

I have NVIDIA GPU (GT 1030) with proprietary driver installed on Arch Linux. Using VLC 3.0.11

When playing video encoded with H.264 with YUV 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 (8-bit), the video is just black. But the problem doesn't happen when playing video encoded with H.264 YUV 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 with 10-bit. The problem only happens with hardware accelerated decoding set to "VDPAU" or "Automatic". It doesn't happen with "Disabled" or "VAAPI" option.

I have also tried the git master, the bug also happens on it (d0a8a9fd)
