3.0.10 Crashing in macOS after pausing

Every now and then after pausing when I go to resume there is no sound and rewinding or advancing will cause VLC to crash. It will then not quit properly and I must "Force Quit." This is a recent phenomenon so I checked release dates and saw that 3.0.10 was recently released, checked my VLC and that is what I'm currently running. I assume it is something in this release that is causing it.
