VLC Runs in Background After Closing MOV Playback

When X-ing out of VLC while watching some MOV videos, VLC continues running in the background. This blocks the user from starting VLC again to watch more videos.

To get VLC to start again, I have to kill VLC's process in task manager before opening another video.
