Panoramix splitting not showing video

OS: Win 10 Pro VLC: 3.08 Vetinari Dell Precision 5540, i79850H, 8GB

No logs, the video "plays" as the time-bar scrolls through each second of the video, but no video is displayed (only the traffic cone).

i run the following cmd line in the vlc directory:

C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC>vlc -vv --video-splitter=panoramix --panoramix-cols=2 --panoramix-row=1 --panoramix-active=$DISPLAY_ID --panoramix-bz-length=0 --panoramix-bz-height=0 "C:\Users\kchan\Documents\Edge Blending Solutions\jellyfish-10-mbps-hd-hevc-10bit.mkv"

Video is mkv.

My goal is to run perform dual projector edge blending with panoramix on a single board computer like a raspberry or a x86 sbc.

I have been using the jellyfish.mkv sample.
