VLC Version 3.0.8 will not play any Youtube URL

Running Windows 10 Pro and installed VLC Ver. 3.0.8 Vertinari in November 2019 and was able to play and record Youtube URLs. However for the last several days (starting January 15th) and ever since that time have had no success in getting any Youtube URL to play period. Have uninstalled and reinstalled VLC several times have looked at various fixes noted on the internet with no success. Not sure how to fill out the following fields below but have noted the Have attached a file containing text from Messages in VLC. Note this version of VLC was installed from this Link https://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
