No text (lyrics) displayed for karaoke when .kar files are played

Being midi files, the audio of .kar files is played however the text (lyrics) for karaoke is not displayed. Would be glad if full support of .kar files could be added.

A similar request was made 7 years ago (#7716) but given the age of that ticket, I thought you would prefer a new one.
