Sleep not prevented on second playblack

In Windows Explorer, double-click a VLC associated video to play it.
VLC opens and plays the video. System sleep (or screensaver) is prevented as expected.
Once the playback ends, do not close the VLC window, but instead double-click another video to play it.
VLC plays the video. However this time, the system will go to sleep as configured in Windows power settings.

Workaround: before starting the next video, close the existing VLC window.
