vlc 3.0.8 audio track on MOV distortion

I did the check on two different pc, both with 3.0.8 installed. Playing mov from my Nikon camera, the audio track is impossible to understand as is distorced. As in the past I played those files without issues, I went on your site and downloaded a previous version (the zip) and it worked fine. Then I downloaded the 3.0.8 as zip and give it another try, but the audio was distorced. Then I uninstalled the 3.0.8 and installed the 3.0.7.1 definitively.
