Vlc player on Xbox One S doesn't play 4K video nor is stable....

Hello everybody,

I've installed Vlc player on my Xbox one S through the Microsoft App store. Sadly, when I (try to) play 4K video content, it isn't stable and depending on the Bitstream it doesn't play at all. I also get green screens and still hear the audio... At first, I was playing files from a NAS. To prevent any limitation from the network regarding speed, I copied the field to the internal harddisk of the Xbox. Hardly noticeable, it gave a bit improvement. I tried to play the files with xbmx Kodi 18.4, this one runs a bit better, or less troublesome. Same for the mediaplayer from Xbox One itself. Runs better then VLC.... Shame because VLC on my android devices run perfectly, same for my windows based computers. Anyone else here having the same issues? Can I install a windows-computer based version instead? In the app store of Microsoft are almost to none apps supporting UHD/4k video playback :(.

Please help me out, any suggestions?

Thanks, Benjamin
