Choppy sound in V 3.0.8 64-bit

I upgraded to v3.0.8 (win64) from v3.0.1 (win64) yesterday and the sound on the playback is choppy now, kind off staccato. I reinstalled v3.0.1 and the sound was fine, as it was as far back as v2.2.6 (win32) The file format was an .MOV Made two short samples but even though it is a video of only 3 seconds, it is apparently too large to upload and any conversion program I use will generate a file of more than 1MB. Kindly look into this a.s.a.p. Will have to revert to 3.0.1 for now. Thanks for an otherwise great product!
