webVTT subtitles support is not working

When try to see a video with subtitles .vtt, VLC is not able to show them.

Steps to reproduce

Just download a video with WebVTT subtitles. (This is a great source for that https://www.coursera.org).
Reproduce the video on VLC.
Not subtitles reproduced.
