storage of Panasonic BST740/745 Videos on Desktop PC

Independent if Win7, 10, Ubuntu 14.04 the above mentioned function is only possible up to VLC 2.1.4 and 5. Older versions not checked.

In newer releases of the OS's VLC 3.0.x this does not do the job. Also only about 10 lines of the stored Videos on the BST740 are displayed.

What have you changed? may on demand of the industry to stop downloads from the BST740 ? I hope not.
