DTS Express (LBR) not working

I cannot get VLC to play DTS Express (LBR) to play although it works fine in ffmpeg and other ffmpeg based software.

I tested VLC 3.0.6 x64 stable as well today's (2019-02-26) x64 nightly on Windows 7 x64 SP1.
