ProRes no audio and codec error message

mov ProRes video files give an error message reading:

Unidentified codec: VLC could not identify the audio or video codec

The video actually DOES start playing behind the message, but there is no audio whatsoever.

I'm running the Feb 12, 2019 nightly build (vlc-4.0.0-20190212-0838-dev-win64.exe) on Windows 10 64bit. I upgraded to this nightly build in the hopes of fixing a previous bug where the audio would play, but there was no video, rather a constantly minimizing and maximizing default screen.

The ProRes files on windows were made possible by Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder recently introducing ProRes encoding on Windows. I have tested ProRes 422 and 422 HQ in both HD and 4K. ProRes of any sort seems to be the only format affected. No special steps are required; opening any ProRes file via double-click or file>open will reproduce it. Standard H.264 mp4 files and BluRay ripped mkv files all appear to be unaffected.

I'm on a 2018 Dell XPS 15, Windows 10 Home edition 64 bit build 17134.523, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti with 4GB GDDR5, intel i9-8950HK, 32GB of ram, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 usb audio interface. My files in tested were from my internal SSD, and from an external USB hard drive.

I will use the videolan samples server to provide an example ProRes 422 file.
