"Hide future errors" does not work
I was listening to a network stream. The stream went down. VLC opened an error box that said:
Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://necta.pedroja.tech/necta192.mp3'. Check the log for details. Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://necta.pedroja.tech/necta192.mp3'. Check the log for details. ...
etc. hundreds of times, very fast. I had to kill VLC through Task Manager. The "Hide future errors" check box had no effect. It should stop the errors and let me close the window.
The same thing happens reliably if I produce any other error, e.g. opening a text file that is not a playable media file. I think the problem might relate to the Loop option that automatically tries to move to the next (i.e. same) file or stream every time.
I am running VLC 3.0.6 on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (build 7601 SP1).
