VLC for Android 3.0.13 unable to stream url with square brackets

When opening a stream url with square brackets VLC fails to open the stream.

Example: http://10.10.1.1/sda1/Movies/Oceans%208%20(2018)/Oceans.8.2018.HDRip.XviD.AC3-EVO[EtMovies].avi
