VLC App crashing

IPhone Xs version 12.0.1 VLC app (Version: 3.1.3 (316) All Along the Watchtower Based on: 3.0.4 Vetinari) crashes when webm is played in full length. Happens when the webm is redirected to VLC through safari, as well as crashing when opened while in VLC app. Does not crash when webm is stopped before the end of the video, only crashes when played to the end.
