iOS: MKV files crash VLC after finishing playback

This is happening on iPhone XS running iOS 12.0.1.

When playing back any MKV file, VLC will crash to the home screen upon finishing the end of the MKV video. From my prior knowledge, the issue does not occur on an iPhone 6S running on iOS 12.

I have also not run into the issue with MP4 files.
