Audio CD not working through windrive SD
insert cd and wait for it to start playing actual music. close vlc start vlc double-click on devices, discs
actual: goes through each Track01.cda..Track14.cda track one by one for 1/4 second each, and then after it has dropped to bottom, error message dialog: Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'file:///E:/'. Check the log for details.
expected: cd track 1 should be played, and others in sequence normally. you should know that some win32 API functions require drive letter with \ on end, and some require it to not be there. it's not the .cda file you are playing, that's just the index into the data on the cd, right?
now: close dialog stop ctrl-d audio cd play works just fine. Q: why doesn't program know the difference between an audio cd and a video disc and an mp4/MP3/flac/data only discs and auto-select? A: try looking for the VideoTS directory or for .cda files or for audio files.
