Clicking 'Stop Playback' closes/crashes VLC media player when playing an avi file.

Steps for reproduction of crash:

1. Open and play one of the two avi files attached to this ticket.
2. Click 'Stop playback' button.
3. Wait for about 2 seconds.
4. Player closes/crashes magically.

For what it's worth, the same two files work fine with VLC media player 2.2.8.
