The "disable screensaver" option isn't working

VLC 3.0.1 64-bit, Windows 10.

The "disable screensaver" option is enabled, but the screensaver still turns on while I am watching a video.

I never had this problem on my previous computer, also running Windows 10. I am reasonably certain that it was a 2.x version of VLC that I was using on that computer, but I do not have any confirmation.
