Error message instead of timestamp

In 64bit version (on Windows 10) and in both the new VLC version 3 and the old version 2.2.8, I get "error" instead of the timestamp when taking a snapshot from video playback. I have installed the 32bit version of 2.2.8, which is the version I had previously (based on a tip I noted from the VLC forum), and this has resolved the problem. It seems like a bug introduced by 64bit versions of VLC, therefore.
