Audio starts auto-playing after a call (on Skype, Slack)

Start with the VLC player in paused/stoppped state.
After a while, let's say I get a call over Skype (or Slack - I have noticed this behavior with both these communication applications).
Now, when the call ends, VLC starts to play automatically.

Expected: It should only play if it was stopped automatically due to an incoming call.
