Essential video filter not working when using hw acceleration

Upon installing new version 3.0.0, I find that videos are not displaying, but exhibited a green screen. Upon Further investigation, I found that turning off the Essential Video Controls re-displayed the video, but no longer allowed control of the video quality, obviously . A brief survey of other controls showed that only the essential controls section was gibbled.

Ver. 3.0.0 OS. Windows 10 Pro CPU. i5-650
