[VLC 3.0] Chromecast feature not working with Sony Android TV KD-43XE8096 builtin Chromecast

Windows 10 1706 64-bit VLC 3.0 Surface Pro 4 i5 6300U + Sony Android TV KD-43XE8096 with builtin Chromecast

Hello I have just tried the new 32-bit release and I can't make the Chromecast feature works. I had also tried some night builds lately before the actual release, and it was not working on my side either.

Steps: 1 open VLC 2 select renderer 3 play

Result: Chromecast starts on the TV but keeps showing the progress/loading bar under the title of the video

This occurs every time. But the stream seems to be created, I got some .mkv file when accessing the s_chromecast_url: http://192.168.1.18:8010/stream from Chrome
