AC3 Dolby Digital passthrough not detected with Xiaomi Mi Box

Hello,

I try to use VLC as an external video player for DS Video aplication on my Xiomi Mi TV box (Android TV) and when I choose a AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio track for the sound of a film, the sound is very bad...

The only way to have it clear is to choose "OpenSL ES" in the audio option of VLC, but if I do this I can't have a real AC3 Dolby Digital sound.

I do this with a mp4 video file (with different audio tracks, one AAC stereo, one 5.1 AC3 Dolby Digital and one THX 5.1 AC3)

Could you fix this bug in a further version of VLC For Android TV?

If you need more information just ask

Best regards

Alex
