Easily reproduced by running vlc-devel --loop rtsp:// -Idummy:

vlc-static: src/posix/filesystem.c:148: vlc_close: Assertion `ret == 0 || errno != EBADF' failed.
Thread 10 "vlc-static" received signal SIGABRT, Aborted
